Don't Sell Alcohol In Our Part Of The Ground Arkles pub that's two minutes from the ground is suppose to be away friendly. Not sure for certain though. Looks a family pub from the videos of it on You Tube.
You can't bring beer into any ground Don't know if there's bar in away end - there is definitley one in the home end
Arkles isn't that great One down the road from Anfiled is better - Cabbage Hall - follow Anfield Road and it's about five minutes from the ground
RE: Arkles isn't that great Watch it mate. You'll be an arsehole as well now, for thinking same as me lol. Reight name that for a pub lol. I might check it out and trust you that it's safe
I know silly me! I've been in there as an away fan - it was okay It was one Bristol City beat Liverpool 2-0 in the FA cup in about 1994 - mate's girlfriend was from Bristol
RE: I know silly me! I've been in there as an away fan - it was okay Been looking up at that pub............ http://www.pub-explorer.com/merseyside/pub/cabbagehallanfield.htm Is the food any good? Sounds like a decent place. You off for a pre match drink?
Haven't tried the food to be honest If you're going by car I'd recommend the Jolly Miller - it's about a mile and half down the main duel carriage way - Queen's Drive. It's on the other side of the road - good pub, good food and it's about ten minutes away from the ground bycar. As going for a drink - don't know yet. May meet up with a mate from Barnsley who's going
RE: Haven't tried the food to be honest Come to The Cabbage Hall and make yourself known as a Barnsley fan, with a scouse accent lol.
Scouse accent - wash your mouth out! I'll see what the others are up to - if I don't make it have a good day out mate
RE: Scouse accent - wash your mouth out! Fake scouse accent I meant Aye you have a good day as well. I am going to be with a couple of Liverpool fans as well that day. Luckily not sat with them in the ground.
