Anyone know if there's CCTV near job centre and Lidl?

My cousin got beat up last night and is currently in hospital. Oh and yes it was a racially motivated attack. 5 Asian men.

I assume the assault was reported to the police...they should be looking for CCTV evidence.

There is CCTV on town end roundabout and a camera in Peel Square - this will only be useful if they were pointing the right way at the time though. There's also numerous other private cameras along Peel Street which may assist. If it hasn't been reported the Police won't be aware and looking for it. And to echo the question above, what was the racial motivation - doesn't necessarily mean it was racially motivated just because the offenders were Asian.

 

It does mean its a racial attack if they did it because of the colour of his skin. Which they did as I hear they were saying naughty

Doesnt matter what race they are, be it white british or asian.Any 5 people attacking 1 person are SCUM to me

 

Have the police been contacted? They will check that for you, you don't have to go driving around looking for it yourself.

 

Lidl has CCTV for parking can ask them if any was pointing that way

 

You need to inform the police who will check all that and should request the footage from wherever. They will be able to get it, you won't.

 

As others have said, if it's been reported to the police then they will check for CCTV footage.

 

Ive a cousin who's a copper at Barnsley, and he says there int a square inch of the town that int covered by CCTV..good luck..you may need it.

Only been logged on for 5 minutes and two people have jumped on what I've said and incorrectly summarised what I meant, a quick reminder of why I don't bother posting much anymore as the PC brigade are constantly policing and patrolling the board.

I never mentioned anywhere 5 white men getting charged with racially aggravated assault with no evidence. I was referring to the fact That in my opinion if an Asian male had been attacked by 5 white men the police would look into it a lot more and check for shop CCTV etc to cover thir ar$es incase the victim plays the race card and says the police did nothing. That's it I'm logging off had enough for another few months
