Anyone know owt about a murder on Tune Street at Wombwell

Just got back been told there was one Friday.

 

Someone put something on facebook that the police where around and had taped a stretch of the road off.

Ive not heard anymore since and it's only around the corner from me too.

 

POLICE have appealed for witnesses to help with an investigation into an attempted burglary at a property in Wombwell.
Crime scene teams and officers cordoned off the property on Tune Street while they launched an investigation on June 1.
A spokesman said: “Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries to establish
the circumstances and enquiries are ongoing. As it is early in the investigation we can’t say much more until circumstances are established.”
There had been much speculation that someone had died in relation to this incident – but police have confirmed this is not the case.
Anyone with any information should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 50 of 1 June 2012.
