And then you are providing a signature at the point of opening an account accepting the terms and conditions etc. Therefore irrespective of what laws are about, you are accepting a contract based on the conditions presented to you. and should know what charges/interest apply etc. I find this very hard to believe, unless people are claiming on the grounds of misrepresentation etc but am willing to be proved wrong. In the long run if I am proved wrong, I will track back on any charges I have had for the last 6 years
