Anyone know owt about phone lines?

Some chav has decided it would be fun to rip my BT phone line off the wall outside.All the wires have come out and been told that BT will charge to mend it,theres only two coloured wires to connect but its knowing which two.

 

Often used to conect two phones together. nt

You can call out BNP Telecom, they do a free repair service.

 

Go and look at the other end mate. That way you'll be sure which two to use.

You might also try finding a similar box and looking inside so you know which terminlas to use.</p>

 

Thanks for the advice.The other end has two stripped wires left inside,the rest of it was pulled through the wall.

You could just pick two colours and rewire both ends then, you just need to know which terminals to use.</p>
