Ours just conked out. It's showing a reading of 56 degrees, but there's no error message, and it certainly isn't that warm, in fact the heating isn't working, but we have hot water.

    It's a Drayton digistat +3.

Tried re-setting it, taking batteries out/ replacing/ turning power off etc. It just reverts back to this reading of 56 degrees, and won't do anything.

Anyone recommend a (simpler) replacement ?

Has it switched to showing temp in farenheit? Might be a button for it on the unit.

No, we thought of that. The reading is in Celsius. None of the buttons work. If we press the temperature "up"and"down" buttons, they show briefly 18degrees etc, but then evert back to the 56+ readings.
