Hubbys Bday coming up & I know he'd love something like that (he's obsessed with his filofax). WHat do they do?
Think he'd want something for dates/ planning work/ diary/ address book & poss financial. Do they all do that? I guess they all do lots more besides... I doubt hed want too much more.

    Any help/ suggestions?

depends what you want to spend...

... be better off with a windows mobile device for active sync with outlook or other PC diary application.

I've had an MDA vario with t-mobile for nigh on 2 years now and i wouldn't be without it.

Had a palm M series before that and it was limited but i guess palms have progressed as well.

    I have an Acer n50.

    It's fantastic.
    Does everything I need.
Hubby bought it new for me , for my birthday last February, from some supplier on EBay for less than £100
    Brilliant. I love it.
Been down the pub and showed the play off final on it and Yorkshire Airlines etc.
PM me if you want to know more Fiona.
    See ya soon.

    Palm or Windows

I use a Palm Tungsten at the mo and it's great for contacts, numbers and calender / appointments.

But I'm looking at changing to a pocket PC that runs Windows, mainly becuase you can use Office stuff but also download emails from your PC. You can also get wireless to connect to Internet.

Wireless is more money, you can also get sat nav for a bit more.

    £200 for basic pocket PC
    £250 with wireless
    £300 with sat nav

    Give or take.

But if he just wants an electronic diary then the Palm Tungsten E2 is a great buy for about £150

What happened to just a diary?!! Want to see my hubby from time to time ... might buy him a ticket for a concert instead. This gadget malarkey could be the start of a slippery slope!!
