There is an MP3 player I would like to buy, but would like to hear it first before i'm to part with my cash. The Sony NWZA828K is my player of choice.

Most MP3 players are pretty decent

Not that much to choose in a lot of them - after all they are only MP3 players. What particularly concerns you about the quality?

I think the quality of the ear phones you use make the most difference. After all, the players are only there to store and send the info to the earphones.

But to answer your question I'd think most electrical shops, if you just asked if you could try one out, would let you have a demo.
