Didn't even make the bench. Lack of match practice or am I missing something.

I did note that another Everton defender did get called up (from U17's to U19's).

I hope his career's not going to stall now.

Because thanks to Everton and Moyes he is now off the football radar. I hope this is just a temporary blip for the lad.

Really enjoy seeing people completely ignore he's injured.

He's more on the map playing for Everton U21s and getting on the bench than being at Oakwell.

to be fair to the current squad, 16 points from 24 since he left. i'd love him back, but we're doing more than ok without him

He picked up an injury playing for Everton U21s

And for the record, he would be back here in a shot if Moyes sanctioned it.

Do you think him not playing here will stop him getting into the England U19 squad?

He's at a top 6 club, a decent sized transfer fee in January and been on the bench a few times. It's not harmed his career at all. In fact, much the opposite.

Regardless of whether he is injured or not there is no way that playing in the reserves / U21's at Everton is better for him than playing in the first team for a championship club.

I'm not saying it is. There was a couple of posts that implied he wasn't in the U19s because he was on the bench at Everton. And after only 6 weeks of being there you said you hoped he didn't become a ghost.

My point is everyone who needs to know about him will do. He's at the best club in the country for him at his age and he'll be some player. Gutted he's not here but let's have a bit of faith in the lad, eh?

There's no doubt he will be learning good stuff at Everton, but nothing like what he would have gained playing with Barnsley this last few weeks.

I couldn't really give a toss if I'm honest. He sold us out for the money when we really needed him. He could have waited but he didn't, which is fair enough and good luck to him. But I am far more interested in the form of Scott Wiseman and the rest of the squad than that of John Stones.

That's what l thought and we're getting **** all back from Everton. Should have been part of the deal, Flicker stated that as a minimum a week before he sold.

Absolutely - and if Moyes didn't agree then we'd sell him in the summer.

    WE sell HIM btw.

We held the cards with this one and we got £2 million, ballax to the £1 million add on's, they're be ludicrous ones like Butterfields are. Should have told em to **** off we need him for the relegation battle to stay in the division, he'll be for sale in the summer. Chances of him getting a serious injury - very slim, if he was crocked - we still sold Butterfield when he was.

Thrift shop, as young un's would say.

    More Pimm's Barry?
