RE: Steve Hillage was great in my Ive still got Fish Rising, Open, Rainbow dome musik and Green. Excellent musicians and good stuff to trip to. lol
got all those as well also a live album, they have just re issued em al on cd, not sure if any bonus tracks or not, just been looking at the you tube stuff, ah the memories, then went onto Donovan and Hurdy Gurdy Man, even better
RE: got all those as well Ive just been on there watching focus. Judging by the lack of replies I got I didnt want to chance posting a link to Hocus Pocus. They would have thought I was a proper nutter!
RE: Donovan is magic, although i once went to see the Happy mondays with Donovan as support (think Shaun R was shagging one of Donovans daughters at the time), anyway i was wearing a Donovan t shirt and standing at the front, on he strolls and 11999 mancs start chanting **** off hippy...............never taken a t shirt off so quickly
To be honest All that stuffs really a bit before my time as im a mere 42 but I just like music. I bought the old grey whistle test collection on DVD a few yrs back and loved some of the stuff from the 70s People like Al Stewart, Robin Trower, Kevin Ayers and the Whole World, Roy Harper to mention a few are on there. My missus thinks im a bit weird but I just have a wide scope of stuff that I like. If its good its good.
Also Theres Captain Beefheart on there. Mad as a bag of squirrels and wouldnt win any singing contests but what a set of musicians he had behind him.
RE: i think it was all down to the sugar they put on So how come Pete Docherty doesnt sound that good?
