Leather punch I ordered from Amazon arrived this morning. The 'Draper Expert'. The two belts I own were a bit slack so I needed to punch extra holes in them. The thing worked a treat, reight bit of kit, very satisfying. But that's it, it took me less than a minute and now I'll probably never use it again. So if you need any holes in owt, give me a shout.

I've used their hole providing service before. But as I lost more weight I kept having to go back. They don't charge you, but you put some money in their charity tin. Good system, but it was costing me more than having me own thingy-me-bob. Decided to get one, but I massively over estimated the amount of holes I required. Buyers remorse.

Not sure exactly to be honest, probably early 70's just after the Metropolitan Centre was finished.

Yeah I doubt they ever imagined most of it would be knocked down 40 years later, the offices must have been empty for ten years now as well.

I'll see your leather punch, and raise you an eyelet machine.

Ordered an England flag off Windy for a cricket tour and only had the brass eyelets down one side.

Bought an eyelet machine and put two eyelets down the other side so it could be tied to the boundary fence.

Another "less than a minute job", never to be used again....might have to splash out on another cricket tour and flag to get my money's worth out of it.

Good luck with your holes service, hope to see you on Dragon's Den. "Hello Dragons, I am looking for £3.75 for 20% of my company...."

Keep away from oakwell with it, Danny's defence has enough holes in it.

Saw the eyelet machine on Amazon when looking for the leather punch. Thought it looked smart and genuinely contemplated buying one until I realised I couldn't think of a single situation that would require its use.

You should give Trebor a ring - I heard that they aren't as good as a rival of theirs.

Apparently this Scouse lad reckons there are 4,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire. They must love holes there get your punch taken over the border and make your fortune.
