whats your reason? Money, Xmas, Recession, Managerless, bottom of the league?

Its the biggest game of the season. I'm genuinely interested because l reckon we'll have about 8,500 home fans there tomorrow when 2 seasons ago we had a crowd of 20,259 against them with 6,763 travelling fans - 13,496 home supporters. Thats an alarming decline of nearly 5,000 supporters in 2 seasons. It was £25 a ticket then too.

I ain't going, my reasons are money and Xmas that l'm still paying off. The club could do a bit of research into why we have lost supporters with a simple survey on the website similar to the Matchday experience one that they didn't pay a blind bit of notice to.

I've lost interest and it is far too expensive... that's football in general.

Managerless, bottom of league, lapsed season ticket this season & £28 way too much so simply got out of the habit.

Will spend the afternoon staring into phone waiting for updates from season ticket holding mates or watching Sky !

Would genuinely like to go but won't pay that much money ..... football is killing itself.

Off to Ipswich instead - I pick my games and that one has a more social aspect for me as my Grandad lives en route and I have a good friend over that way. I used to go to every home game even after I moved down south but it's not practical for me to do so now (time, marital harmony), so in common with many travelling supporters I have to choose which games to go to.

I'm about to move house and am a bit skint, can't justify £100+ day out which is what it costs me all in. Been to 7 of the last 9 games, now that's me done until Boro away. Gutted though, atmosphere will be great tomorrow. Get yerselves down and get behind the lads! :)

Thinking of going. I normally get to about 50% of home games (I live 70 miles away and usually take my 2 lads so it costs me almost £100 - but I might go on my nown tomorrow).

Cannot make my mind up. Tell you what though, if we don't go we are still glued to the score for the Reds. This shows deep down we are still supporters. Just need to sort Ticketing and football side out. Then we will be rolling

You have my deepest sympathy :) Hopefully with the weather forecast it's not too cold for them.

I wasn't going on principle. Couldn't see it through though, the team deserve support.

Paid my 29.50 inc booking fee last night to make sure I got a seat with a gangway for more legroom for the gammy leg. (Can't get to Tuesday games cos of work so dont have ST anymore, haven't bothered to buy a membership, so it costs me that every game as I can't get to the box office - live in donny, work in Leeds, I think I'll have paid about £50 to £100 more than a season ticket by the time I've done - oh well. Best thing is i generally get the exact same seat every game).

Reckon I'll be there for all the Saturday home games too as per before Xmas. I did swear to the mrs that I wouldn't come before we had a permanent manager and also wouldn't if it was a cheap internal appointment - ie flicker or Branson.

I'd give it flicker now to save embarrassment, and I've realised that whatever league we're in and whoever is manager or playing for us, I'll still be there. I'm also looking into changing my shifts to justify ST again.

Using the BBC "price of football" figures:

Only 7 clubs in the division have a cheaper ST than our lowest priced one at £315 but 17 clubs out of the division have cheaper pay on the day tickets. It seems our club is pricing out the pay on the day supporter more than most clubs.

I understand peoples reasons, but I'd be there even if I had to borrow the money. Leeds or Millwall, I'd be there. This current saga serves only to reaffirm my support for the club I love.

You've got me there, pal. I have no kids of my own, and my partners are grown up.

    Priorities.

And as much as my club is very much a BIG part of my life, I totally get your argument.
