    If so, why not have a footy show on Saturdays? From 2pm to 6pm solid Barnsley coverage. interviews, stats, match coverage and a phone in after the game.

    Isn't dearne FM part of Independent Radio Network (eg Hallam etc)?</p>

    If so then parhaps it is the IRN that has to negotiate for match commentaries, and I don't think they've bothered for years, leaving it to the Beeb.</p>
