    Going to Olu Deniz area in a couple of weeks, just wondering what the prices were like for eating out, drinks etc. Trying to work out how much cash to take.

    Not cheap any more

    Just got back from Icmeler, beer &pound;2+ a pint (local stuff), spirits unbelievably expensive, wine about &pound;3 for a small glass.</p>

    Food varied but on average we paid about &pound;8 per head for a main course only meal.</p>

    There's something not quite right when you can buy a genuine fake La Coste T-Shirt for the price of two pints (I'm a great haggler).
