In preivours years i've watched the odd game and highlights but this year i'm more into it.

Think it's with Gillespie, Rashid and Pryah at the Strikers.

Also Willey's at the Scorchers so Yorkshire involvements there too.

Also other English players there and a chance to see KP send the crowds nuts with big hits. Not sure if anyones seen the clip of him talking to the commentators the other days but it was amazing for a cricket fan like me. Told the commentator what the bowler would do next and what he would do to him. 30 seconds later the ball sails for a 6 into the crowd like he said.

Yes i enjoy it and there's plenty of english interest too (Rashid todays man of the match). It appears to be a very vibrant tournament, unlike ours, with fewer teams playing to large crowds in great stadiums. All the games are also shown live on free to view tv.

Defiantly something they should think about in this county imo.

A city based T/20 would be the way forward for me. Manchester Leeds Birmingham Nottingham Bristol London

Rashid looking v good in that format isn't he. Just hope he can shown the England sectors why he should be in the test team soon too.

A lad that played for my village team (Skelmanthorpe CC) in 2014 called Tom Beaton plays for Melbourne Renegades and took a superb catch on Saturday against Brisbane. I try to watch as much as possible i find it really entertaining and as pointed out above by limiting the teams you fill the grounds and ensure the performances are to the highest calibre.

The only way to make a big bash work is to have a separate competition.

    Leeds
    London
    Manchester
    Birmingham
    Cardiff
    Nottingham
    Newcastle
    Southampton

Make it a 3 week block in June, 4 oversees, 4 under 22's in the squads chosen. County T20 would be a feeder tournament. Sky would be all over this, anyone with an interest in county cricket would hate it.

It's ace. Wall to wall cricket over the Christmas break. Perfect. Not too serious. Good banter from Punter, Flintoff, Gilly and co. Women's BBL in the afternoon, men's in the evening. My other half is jumping with joy, ahem.

The Strikers are looking promising. Rashid has had a cracking start.

    Sounds brilliant for a cricket.

Really pleased to see Adil Rashid do well. I really like how he plays the sports.

I think it'd be good if they could make it with a few different teams so that it could fit into a 3 week window for the whole thing. That way if you have a high concentrate of talent with in every team the England players would want to play and demand it even off the ECB. I'm not sure about the Big Bash but in the IPL isn't it something like a 5/6 split with domestic and international players. Maybe they could do it like that.

I think it can't be connected to the words county in anyway IMO. Because if it was players wouldn't feel confident playing away from their county. Joe Root could say play for Manchester, Leeds could maybe bid for a Butler or Eoin Morgan say.

Plus the way people improve is playing in pressure environment. How good would it be for a Matthew Fisher to bowl at International top batters for 3 week. It would do our players so much good.

Nice to see Shat stay up last season. Strong league is the Drakes Premiership. Scholes did excellent to win the league with an homegrown young team. Well apart from having Jono Boult the brother of Trent as their overseas :D

Big Bash has been good. Melbourne Stars starting the 4/1 favourites with KP, Luke Wright and other big hitters but have lost both games so far.
