    Sad news, Beryl the Landlady died yesterday. Think she’s been in there since 1974. A lovely lady and character. If it ever it reopens it’s going to be so strange going in and no Beryl. RIP Beryl

    First pub I ever went in with my Dad....he was a regular there when Beryl and Harold kept it although he stopped going in when the brewery replaced the Barnsley Bitter with keg John Smith's.

    Forget to mention the BFC connection, apart from Kev being a massive reds fan, Elaine in Laundry usually runs the Karaoke and Tobey Tyke also regulars in there
