    Heard today that Stan Horton had died...top teacher, hard but fair.

    Blimey but he's lasted well. Seem to recall that he himself was at school with my dad (RIP). That would make him around 85. I wish I still had the spanner I made in 1974. It was rubbish, but it was my rubbish... And so was the copper ashtray.

    Top top bloke best teacher by a country mile at Willowgarth,taught my dad and me and will be sadly mist. Used to sit behind me in east upper and had'nt seen him for a couple of years,RIP Stan God bless.

    I have still got the extremely naff wallpaper scraper I made in metalwork in 1979.
