Been out but what with my eyes (like two cabbages ) and light pollution I've no chance sadly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Crikey, in deepest darkest clowne, I'm upto about twenty now, not many shooting type, but lots of flashes and fast moving objects above
Download Google sky map on your phones, find Perseus and Cassiopeia and that's the area they're coming from, seen a few beauties!
Me and the Mrs... a bottle of single malt... Meteors in the sky.... What could be better... Staying up til we fall asleep
Me and the missus just been out in the garden watching them. Our daughter (9) had just been downstairs with toothache 20 minutes ago, so I went and got her, thinking she'd be impressed. She saw one and that was that, back to bed. Once you've seen one shooting star as a 9 year old you've seen them all! Us two were out there for ages and saw loads. Unusual Penistone evening, as it's not windy and the temperature is above zero.
Stood on the rocks on the top of the old Cortonwood pitstack at 11:30 last night with junior. Saw a few, but the light pollution from the Cortonwood retail car park meant it was lighter than we hoped.
I went outside for a bit but the light pollution in Leeds is bad so I had no chance. It did give me a nice chance to talk to the elderly couple across the street who were out looking too
