Definately the disel. Her - who - must - be - obeyed bought a new 1.9 TDi two years ago and it is a suberb drive. Returns over 50 mpg.</p> For my new company car I chose a Jetta 2.0 TDi. and its even better. Fabulous drive, 55 mpg on trip to Scotland, cavernous boot.
