My phone is going off at 1pm. No radio or TV all day then going to watch The Championship at 11pm and watch our fate unfold.

I will avoid watching or listening to anything to do with football on Sunday.
My son is going to the match. His instruction is to phone me at the fianal whistle ONLY if it's good news. No phone call will be bad news.

I thought of doing that but realise that if it's going to be bad news

I'd rather have it played out in front of me than a bit 'whack' which could cause a siezeure.

    agreed

a creeping malaise or sense of escape might be better than a surprise.

Plan to be on the golf course (with my rosary beads)

I can't listen to the commentary as its too frustrating.(doh) and its not fair on the kids (hidebehindsofa)

Anyway, thisway the kids wont see me crying if things have gone wrong by the time I finish. (RIP)

If on the other hand if things go well I'll treat 'em when I get home (rockon)

Planning on going for a long run

I expect I'll be soconsumed withputting one foot in front of the otherthat I won't have any spare energy to fret about football scores. Then I'll switch t'internet on once I get in.

Im gonna listen to the build up and then go a long bike ride up the coast....

After the results have come in I will go alone to a quiet place and take in the result on my phone. Just like opening the letter with exam results in!

If we stay up Ill probably read every football website on the planet.. If we go down I'll stay in hibernation for the next month!!

It would be easier to watch it live, than updates from afar

I was bad enough for the Cov game, but this will be horrible. Can't we just go 3-0 up after 10 minutes & we can all settle down?!!

    Suggestions I've heard so far

    1. Go out & do something else.
    2. Just sit watching SSN with a bottle of Vodka.
    3. Into town to watch SSN with a big gang.

It's like waiting to go into the dentist.
