Anyone planning on watching the Barnsley match in a pub

    now then eaststand lower, thats interesting, because we are also in two minds this weekend on where to watch the match in blackpool. you going for the barnsley weekend? or is that the weekend after?

    This is a problem we face time and again because of Sultana

    For midweek televised games that we couldn't get to we always used to have a goodturnout down in London pre-Setanta. Although pubs largely weren't that arsed about showing a Barnsley game (esp League 1), they usually buckled when 20 of us threatended to walk out and take our beer vouchers elsewhere.</p>

    But now with Setanta they usually put a prem game on against Sky's Championship live games and it means we usually have to bribe a pub to show it. Last time I promised a fair few of us would turn up and arranged with the Landlord that he'd show our game. Turns out he forgot to tell the staff and they put a board outside advertising the Man City Sunderland Setanta game.</p>

    Still managed to get it on though, despite only 3 of us turning up! Probs because I was with two pensioners.</p>
