Played four games so far with mixed results.

So far, have signed the following for Barnsley.

Permanent:

Bobby Zamora (West Ham)
Jay Bothroyd (free)
Fred Daems (Belgian international left back - Borussia Moenchengladbach)
Tony Popovic (Crystal Palace)
Lee Morris (Leicester)
Neil McCann (Southampton)

Loan:

Calum Davenport (Spurs)
Patrick Cregg (Arsenal midfielder)
Kenwyne Jones (Southampton)
Quincy Owusu-Abeyie (sp?) (Arsenal)

One or two errors in the game with it being a beta demo, but it's not bad.

RE: Its alright i suppose...

Why does it get to you?

I must admit I'd like to know what effect it has on the players, if any.

Its just something that gets to me...

dunno why, i just don't like it...

I also signed Bobby Zamora, along with Les Ferdinand and Gerry Taggart. Had a shocking start to the season, so went back to FM2005 and haven't gone back since.

I started badly too...

Swindon home: 2-2
Yeovil away: 2-3
Scunny home: 0-1

But then battered Tranmere 3-0 away, two for Zamora.

It takes your players a while to get used to your tactics and formation, I always start badly and then normally recover. My CD drive's knacked so it's the only thing I can play :pff

By the way, cheers for yesterday, had a quality time! Not many funnier guys round than you, Chris and Martyn :pff (Y)

Just a shame about the reason we actually went to Burnley in the first place!

Well..I've downloaded the fecker...

...im fecked if I know how to get a job!! only one available is Hilston and I cant even get that!

Did not have fm2005 btw but it seams to be incredibly slow for a game that looks no different to some I had on my zx spectrum in 1986.

I must be doinbg something wrong...or am I??

You need to add yourself as a manager...

to a club of your choice before the game starts. A screen will appear asking you to enter your name and details etc, and then you select a club.

As for slow running, mine is ok. Depends on the PC i suppose

At the top of the page...

there will be a list of options, think one says Manager etc etc. This will provide sub headings of (Team Name), Player Search etc etc. Press on your team name, will bring up your team, then on the left has sub sections of tactics training etc.

Just play with it, its easy once you get used to it. Then when you've done all you wanna do press continue in the bottom right corner, you'll get to a game eventually...
