In and around Barnsley? Used to go to Tankersley Manor but the last time was 3-4 years ago and no idea if its still decent these days.

Looking more at quality than the worlds biggest plate or best value.

    Any help welcome

    Cheers

I would highly highly highly recommend the Stables near Whitby, a know its not in your radius but its the BEST Sunday diner/lunch I've ever had, absolutely stunning. I'd happily pay 20quid for it!

    Strafford Arms at Stainborough.

Three Acres is supposed to be good but will set you back thirty quid per person!

Good shout JC, we make a point of having a Stables Sunday lunch/dinner every time we're up at Whitby over a weekend. Superb quality and big portions, the classic combination!
