    yeah,
    his popularity in March was at 59% (positive) just after we'd out-played Derby away (0-0) and won Palace 3-1.

    this compares to about 10% now.

    I remember a thread circa Dec 2007 on here

    entitled 'When did you first realise Davey was a good manager'

    Sums up a lot of peoples shor term result driven mentality really ie we were about 8th in the division, 1/3 of the way through the season and people massively jumping to what has turned out to be the wrong conclusion.

    Sadly, the vast, vast majority on here were in agreement at that time as I remember.
