People seem to think that at a football match they can do whatever they want. They get oissed and act like dicks and the sad thing is as you say a lot of people not only condone it but encourage it arguing it's just fun or its creating an atmosphere. It's ******** really

Thing is, I love atmosphere at a game, and I love a pre-match drink. It's possible to have both without behaving like a moron.

It's also possible to enjoy a game without getting hammered.

It's even possible to create an atmosphere without behaving like a tw@t.

Drunken high jinx from kids who should really know a bit better but at the end of the day no one got hurt, nothing got smashed up and the hamsters safe and sound in Wakefield.

Some perspective is often called for.

No. Some respect is called for. It's not high jinx. It's idiots showing no respect for anything or anyone.

"Kids" need to learn some respect and how to take their ale. Adults need to stop apologising for senseless behaviour.

If Hector had invaded the pitch with a flare throwing coins the bbs would be the funniest Internet forum ever

    ******* numpties.

The same people will be moaning that we're not allowed to play the deedars at home in 3pm Saturday kick-offs. Boo, South Yorkshire Police. Boo. Got it in for us, they have.

Why aren't we allowed to? It's because a minority of our fans are imbeciles.

I think every team has a minority of fans who cause trouble. The blunts have thrown a coin which hit the Fleetwood keepers head week before they were carrying on with police and stewards at rochdale not to mention when they came oakwell throwing half a dozen flares about. but your right taking a hamster is much worse no wonder we can't play Sheffield United at 3pm

Know the lad very well who had the hamster, he's done some daft stuff. He jumped in the canal at Manchester city away and then a few months previous climbed onto a Wakefield nightclub roof and had to be rescued by the fire brigade. Admittedly these things sound funny but the hamster thing was wrong, poor little thing must have been terrified.

There you go again, making excuses for them.

    Dad of daughter with Hamster.

You do realise we have fans who break up seats at Oldham, let off flares, etc. What's the betting it's the same folks you're excusing? Either way, it's all yobbery. Not sure why a man with a young girl at the game would be making allowances for it.

Im not making excuses like I said earlier it is wrong but I don't think it's in the same category as throwing coins, flares and smashing seats up.

    That's because it isn't mate.

Don't think the lad has thought about what he was doing. The hamster could have died through the lad doing something as stupid as that. He'll have thought 'I'll make a few folk laugh' which they did, but in the bigger picture it was a stupid thing to do.

I think you should Paul. I heard it was him and his mate Garren. Adam left his moped at home and they were both drinking heavily. He might be Barnsley's most innovative inventor but he's a right ******* when he's pissed. He's on facebook BTW
