and they couldn't remember his name!

Double finger in the eyes from Lionel Perez. Suppose it was the only way perez could be the better tof the 2 keeper coaches by blinding watty.

    Police and FA investigating

absolutely appalling, could have caused serious injury. You have to question the mentality of such people and to do it in front of witnesses as well.

Soryy Lionel you're on Candid Camera!

Get outta that one, hope Watty presses charges. Too many assaults happen on the pitch never mind between management

    RE: Ooops

you'd think the FA or PFA would have a view on this subject. Graham Bean formerly of South Yorks Police and Churchfields nick would have some influence, or has he left the FA ?

MotD said that the incident was being investigated

Both as a criminal and an FA matter.

Almost as bad as the Diouf gobbing incident.

Contentious I know but the game could benefit from some charges being pressed for what if it happened round tarn on a weekend would be assault.

    No

Dave Watson (Northampton goalkeeping coach and ex-red) was poked in the eyes by the Stevenage goalkeeping coach, Lionel Perez (ex-Sunderland?) just after Northampton scored a penalty to go 2-1 up.

The goalie attacked by fans was the QPR goalie at Stoke.
