against the yanks, we were walking away from the ground about 1/4 to 2 to find the Cabbage pub, 2-3 hundred pool fans marching and chanting towards the ground

We've had more demonstrations than Iraq this season.

There was nearly 5,000 before the Porto game earlier in the season.

What you saw today wasn't an 'official' protest. The one before the Porto game, we had leaflets handed out, it was said in the local paper etc.

Today, there was a meeting at the Supporters Club up the road to the Cabbage Hall - it was probably just the fallout from that.

wasnt on the road from the pub to ground though

we were heading to that pub but had gone wrong, we applauded em anyway and they responded favourably, true football fans should stick together but unfortunatly money talks and methinks its gone too far now :'(

    Personally .....

I'd like to wish you all the best for the rest of the season. I loved Liverpool when I was a nipper (as did most of the country) and though I'm chuffed to bits we beat you, I still hope you come away with something, stuff M*n U and sort out the ownership issue. You are fans, just like us, who love your club, so I hope it turns out well for you and the good times come back.

The Supporters club 'base' is further away from the ground that the Cabbage Hall is.

A 'splitter' group had their first meeting there about things today. As I say, if it was a demo, it was very much an unofficial one.
