Recorded it but didn't get to watch it yet

A lot of things going off in Iran at the moment, crackdown by the fundamentalists on such 'crimes' as this as well as religious 'crimes' e.g. converting from Islam.

Hi Bingley Red, thinking of going to have a look at the 5 locks on the canal and a picnic. Is it worth a Sunday run out up there?

    Damn forgot

Had meant to watch that - though not sure I would have liked the experience much.

    Fascinating stuff

The brief footage of two people crouching within a circle having lumps of rock thrown at them was quite unsettling

It's Ok, there's the locks and a tea room there

pleasant enough to have a walk along the banks on a nice day too. We tend to walk down the canal bank with the kids and feed the ducks as we go.

Ever seen 14 Days in May?

Documentary about a black bloke on death row, leading up to him dying in electric chair. He was later proved innocent.

Thanks for that, looking at the map it doesn't seem too far to the Worth Valley Railway.

Yep, you can get that in Keighley, a couple of miles

down the road. If you want to park in Keighley use Sainsbury's car park, just past the station and turn right. The train goes to Haworth too which is a nice place for a walk around as well.

It should be included in our multicultural curriculum.

I'm sure I read about it in the paper.

Some couple had booked the venue for their wedding day and reception and have since been told that it's been double booked with 'Muslim Day' Therefore they won't be able to go on any rides together, as male and females will have to be seperated. And they have to adhere to a dress code!

    The mentalists.

Barstewards, I want one for my religion.

Blokes can't go on a ride with other blokes.

You're not allowed to wuss out of any rides (except the Pirate ship, cos that sends me all dizzy)

No wearing of 'chav type dress', just lovely corduroy slacks and a proper shirt and tie, ties must be tied properly, not with a knot the zize of a melon.
