Why is he a tit? He is entitled to his opinion just like you are. Next match take a banner saying " Davey forever" if that will make you feel better and you think the team will play better. Its entirely your choice. He was just stating how he feels and there has been a lot worse than that at football matches before now.
RE: Why is he a tit? I think some people have lost the plot. We are supposed to be s-u-p-p-o-r-t-e-r-s.
Yeh voicing his opinion and i agree that Davey needs to go...........but having a big banner saying Davey out isnt goin to motivate and encourage the players is it! They may aswell not bother
That does not mean we should just accept it all blindly tho` If you are paying a lot of money for something and you are not satified with the product, then surely you are entitled to voice your disapproval, it does not matter whether that product is a cooker or whether you are out having a meal , or you are going to a football match. If you are dissatified then you have a right to complain. I am not saying I would have made my point like that, but its his choice. If Offspring was upset about then he should have mentioned it at the time to the operson involved and the he could have put his own opinion across, I am not saying the person with the banner was right, because I dont think he was.
Exactly!! Some encouragment!!! Davey is going nowher unfortunatley! So lets do all we can to spur the players on to win the games!!
RE: That does not mean we should just accept it all blindly tho` Fair enough with what your saying but Davey is not going anywhere unfortunatley, and no matter how much we boo him and hold banners up he is staying put. What ppl dont understand that it does have an affect on players.
RE: That does not mean we should just accept it all blindly tho` The difference is I don't give a flying **** about the company I bought the cooker from, so how they are affected by my unpleasantness doesn't matter. Once it is realised that complaining during a match about the direction my football team is going is counter productive, a different way should be found. Lobby the players/officials exit or summat AFTER the match.
Sorry but that wont work at Oakwell Simon Davey is so far removed from reality that he would think we were there to congratulate him.
RE: Completely bonkers nt What, for believing we should be supporting the club instead of ridiculing it. There's enough in Sheffield and Doncaster do that.
No to think that if your new cooker was **** that you'd just paid £100+ for that you'd not complain.
This is a results business as well as an entertainment. hard earned money in a credit crunch means he can do what he wants without redicule imho.
Its not my way of doing things but each to their own.

RE: No to think that if your new cooker I don't think you're reading the posts correctly mate. I'd be as unpleasant as I could about the cooker. But doing that during a match doesn't help my football team.
No but it would help the cooker company get their arse in gear to get the problem fixed.
If your complaint still existed after your original disaproval then I would expect the said manager to be disciplined or fired.

RE: No but Grrrrrr. I'd kick the cooker company's arse to shredded duck but I wouldn't use that approach with my football team. I'm making a distinction between the two. It is not the same thing at all.
