Plonkers turn to the right wing in desparation of change from weak leadership, but its all a smokescreen for something much more sinister.

    Very dangerous times ahead.

I don't know what's going on in Barnsley now ...

Tend to just pop in and out for matches - is it a fair picture of people's feelings?

    Bloody depressing

Its a shame that we've got to the situation where people are willing to listen to them. They peddle the worst kind of negative politics. The BNP would be disastrous for this country if they had any power, I just hope we don't give them the chance to show it.

I think BNP have some good ideas/policies, but its a pity that they are associated with violence and racism so I for one wont be voting for them!

Looks pretty much like another case of "Go to Barnsley and get this story" rather than "get the story." I partly recognise Barnsley from that description but some of it's just ballocks and, to be honest, he could be describing anywhere in parts.

I still think the BNP vote is just a shot over the bows of crash-course liberalism and those who actually believe they could organise a piss-up in a brewery are as unlikely to be found in Barnsley as anywhere else.

Fingers crossed the BNP make an impact at the next election.

It could be a massive wake up call for our lilly livered mainstream politicians who are so far up the muslim's backsides, their heads nearly pop out of their turbans.

What gets me with the BNP

is that there are as many white british people who are lazy unemployed scroungers, who claim every benefit possible with no intention of finding a job, as there are those from ethinc minorities.

Also, there are a lot more white british people who I would love to see kicked out of the country because of their attitudes and behaviour, than there are people from ethnic minorities.

I really don't understand why they are saying they want to look after 'our own people', when there are foreign people a lot more deserving than 'our own'.

What they are really saying mate is 'look after our own culture'. There's the subtle difference.

Some of us may be too young to remember anything but the current school of thought that states multi -culturalism is good. But us older ones will remember times where freedom of speech , really was freedom of speech, where you were not afraid to celebrate your own culture and customs and where you didn't have to mind your ps n qs on the off chance you might upset some ultra sensitive religous/ethnic minority............................happy days.

The things I say on here would probably get me disciplined if I said them at work, as an example.

RE: What gets me with the BNP

I agree with that point totally. I don't think we should have to stop celebrating our own culture so that we don't upset minorities. But the problem we have is that the BNP are massively ignorant and disrespectful towards other cultures.

“huge swamping wave of mass immigration from places like Poland which has put hundreds of thousands of our people out of a job” it's comments like that which make me mad. Out of those hundreds of thousand people he mentioned, I'd like to guess that the majority of them were already unemployed and never liked the idea of working. Blaming Polish people and other immigrants for our unemployment rates seems to be more of an excuse rather than a proven cause. The majority of them are doing the jobs that 'our own people' never wanted to do.

You can say anything you like unless what you want to say is abusive and discriminatory and why should you have a right to say that. Actually, you still have that right if you want to come across as a total lovely person. You have to say such things long and loud before you are disciplined.

'Please boss, my ever so nice work colleague Ali is not feeling well today because it's Ramadan, he's feeling hungry and light headed so he's decided to have the day off...........any chance you could get rid of the time-wasting cloth head please and employ someone who wants to graft instead'?

Lucky to keep me job after that one :D
