I take it big game hunting is illegal at least I hope it is. If so it looks pretty easy to track em down if you pardon the pun.

FFS...........someone send this woman a message........

The once beautiful animal is no longer beautiful if its been killed by a human wielding modern equipment such as guns and bows

A beautiful woman that has no soul hiding behind modern equipment to kill beautiful animals............this women is well and truly sick

sadly it is legal. They use the same excuse as fox hunters by saying they are controlling the population because we all know that the african plains are overcrowded and that lions are 10 a penny...

I've just told her - via twitter (int twitter great, btw?) - that I'd love to shoot her.

The photo of her proudly sat over the dead lion is beyond sick.

    Evil basterd.

I can't decide which is more sickening, her killing the animals in the first place or her actually taking a picture while standing over the carcasses and smiling!
    What a sadistic slag!

Presumably everybody on this thread is a vegetarian?

If not, how do you equate your feelings for the animal you just ate for your tea? Where do you draw the line? Does it matter if you didn't personally kill the creature? Do farm animals bred to be eaten or fish plucked from the sea, not count?

Im not making excuses for the woman who killed the lion, it's abhorrent, but I'm just trying understand people's thinking on this?

Killing out of necessity in order to eat.
Killing because you take pleasure in ending the life of another creature.

    Two totally different scenarios.

That's easy for me, although I know not everyone agrees.

I eat meat, and I like eating meat. However, I know people who "enjoy" going hunting and kiling animals and birds, whether they eat them or not. I think the difference is that some people seem to enjoy causing animal suffering for the sake of it. How many fox hunters have ever eaten a fox? They do it for "fun", nothing else.

You don't have to eat animals, so it's not a necessity

    Null and void argument

I must have missed that law being passed

Where only vegetarians are allowed to voice their opinions on animals being hunted for sport? Why aren't omnivores allowed to pass judgement on animal cruelty? What has the killing of animals for food got to do with animals being killed for pleasure? Why can't people pass comment on subjects like this without their honesty and/or integrity being called into question?
