should hang their heads in shame the pair of them are useless, Hayes made a goal, then missed three easy chances, Richards, well, an absolute disgrace, Ritchie is taking this club nowhere.

no they were absolutely appalling today,id give howard a run up front, he used to play as a striker and surely cant be any worse than these two jokers

    Are you ritchie in disguise?

Of course we can bloody change it. Hayes and richards are not doing what they are paid for. One or both of them needs to be dropped.

    Here's the Hayes brigade now...

He set up a goal nobody else in the team could set up, and I remember him missing one easy chance.

Richards however, I have no defence for today.

Missed the easiest chance of the game which would have likely sealed a win

    No excuse for it.

Not even you can seriously support a player of such ineptitude in front of goal, the lad is out of his depth, and Richards is pinching a living.

    Absolute ******

    Easiest chance of the game?

See Devaney air-kicking an open net and Richards with the whole goal gaping hitting it straight at the keeper after a short back pass.

    Hayes and Nardiello next week.

Can't defend the strikers today they were utterly inept in front of goal. Hayes did well to set up the goal and had a few nice touch but never looked like scoring, Richards on the other hand is a carthorse. I still think Hayes is a good player but without a goalscorer along side him he's becoming increasingly ineffective.

Hayes had a ball sitting up well, no defender within 5 yds..no brainer

    No excuse.

Could not even muster a shot on target.

    Indefensable.

    Agreed

I'm not trying to suggest that Hayes is brilliant. I'm saying he needs someone with him who will take the chances he creates.

Hayes & Nardiello, Barnsley vs Oldham, Barnsley 4 Oldham 0.

    Do it again.

He needs to take the chances presented on a plate to him.

Did anyone see Reid's miss at the start?

    Would it have counted?

    Oh of course sorry...

Thats far worse than Devaney missing the empty net that Hayes created for him, or Richards being gifted a goal, standing still until the keeper was infront of him, and then hitting it at his leg.

    Stunning. Hayes out. FFS.

    Dont think it would..

Thought there was a whistle before he hit it. Terrible miss though. Hayes should be dropped because Reid missed that. :)

    Even so

Devaney (a winger) missed a moving ball across him. should have done better.

Richards missed a couple of good chances, granted.

Hayes "striker" chance though was without doubt the easiest of the game..Fact.

Hayes did well in 1st Half but strikers live and die by goal scoring records and Hayes's is *****.
