Anyone stopping in cardiff friday night?

Or as anyone been for a night out in cardiff and whats it like??

 

I'm staying in Cardiff Saturday night to break up the journey and miss traffic etc. Cardiff is meant to be a **** hot night out, haven't been personally but the lads went once when i couldn't make it. A couple of mates have been a few times. I'm banking on the on-going love affair between swansea and cardiff to make it a haven on Sat for barnsley fans, regardless of result. Plus we'll probably bump into one or two codheads. What d'ya reckon?...

 

Cardiff is a good night out. Mary street, Wood street, Morgan & Royal Arcades full of pubs and clubs. (thats as far as I have been)
Mary street is the main street through Cardiff (10 mins walk from Millenium Stadium) Walkabout starts it all off at the bottom just make your way up with pubs and clubs on both sides. The two arcades have the posh bars (similar to our Lucorum & Blah Blahs) where you can sit outside and chill. I know there's a weatherspoons, o'neills Flares, Hard Rock Cafe and a load more, but memory faded as the night went on.
I have only been once, last August Bank Holiday, enjoyed the night in the above location. Don't be scared off by the "Cardiff Idiots Rumour" it's not that bad. Didn't go round Millenium stadium so don't know what it's like. But looks good on the telly.

We are there for Friday night as well, Have a good one!!!!!
