if so what's it like ie/ what news you recieve/is it pretty regular etc

currently with sky sports news but its inconsistent-it rarely tells you transfers (still waiting for the text saying we signed Lucas), sometimes pretty late with goal updates during games(not so bad when im there, but couldn't make saturday and i got all my texts with teams and goals sunday morning) and it sometimes sends me same message several times, which at 25p a message adds up

any help or advice is much appreciated

    cheers

Got the text about the FA Cup 4th round draw as soon as it happened, and is very good with transfer news, got one on Friday lunchtime about Eckersley, and then one again confirming the deal had gone through this lunchtime. Sometimes get them before the story goes to the main site.

I'd recommend it, but don't sign up for goals etc, it's just frustrating when you get a text message costing 25p everytime theres a goal from a game you're already watching or already aware of the goals from.

But for transfer news, highly recommended if you can't be at your computer all day, particularly during transfer window.

did when they first introduced them

when I didn't have a season ticket or Barnsley World. However, I cancelled the subscription after one saturday because it seemed like they were just out to drain my balance unecessarily. I think they gave me two or three emails on team new before the match, two on injuries and another to classify the teams, and other messages on days other than matchdays about stuff that was easily available on the site and I just found it a waste of money.
