Used to - what you after?

Found that a weekly pass is pointless unless you're guaranteed to do Mon-Fri and maybe a couple of trips in between.

Boundary crossing is a ******* - you can get a Metro card that takes you as far as Darton I believe which might be cheaper but then there's the drive to think about it. And it takes longer.

Metro pass is £132 a month but from Darton, misses fast train. So there's no cross boundary pass available? Not used the train for work since l worked in Wakefield back in 1999-2002, no cross boundary passes available then, used to get some kind of weekly £20 pass l was kind of hoping it had changed from all those years ago but can't find owt on line.

Worked in Leeds for last 4/5 years, never took the train because were near the airport. Maybe moving to the city centre so wondered if it was worth it. Two options l though about were parking at Darton but then l've got the 55min train journey or getting on at tarn and paying Barnsley to Darton and pass from Darton to Leeds.

After that long working in Leeds and travelling up the fecking M1 (J39-J42/43/44) its only a matter of time before l lose my head and mow into summat.

F.ck that. Never minded the train, 35/40 minutes, paper, brew - piece of piss. It's just too expensive. The extra tenner a week in parking is worth shelling out for.

Hi, worked in Leeds for past 5 years. I Live in monk bretton and drive or cycle to sandal to get the train. Its cheaper than travelling from town, faster and you have the option of two trains an hour:)

it'll be a monthly pass. Barnsley is outside of west yorks metro limits although darton int. Just go on national rail website and search for monthly ticket tarn to leeds

agree re sweet street parking. I live right next to it and every bugger parks here!!!

Sorry for late reply. Yes it is a monthly pass. Less hassle than going to darton every morning

Shocking really. Leeds about 20 miles. My Sheffield trips (two thirds that distance) only £67 with travel master
