I thought before the game started that we would struggle to pick up more than a point with a side that looked picked to basically keep it tight and pick up a point. In reality we were well worth a point and arguably all 3. Mellis had an influential game. We looked a little lightweight up front and I don't think O'Grady looks particularly comfortable playing up front on his own. New lad played well though lacked quality on the final third which may be as a result of him not playing much in the last year. Defence looked comfortable, in the main, though their goal was preventable. Dawson, O'Brien and Perkins were their usual selves full of endeavour if not quality. Of the 3 Dawson was perhaps the best but his inability to control a football often leaves him playing at a different tempo to the rest of the team. Perkins was better today but still sone way off his best.

We had plenty of possession though a lot of it of the tippy tippy variety and a lot of shots though some of them barely counting as such. More hope than owt. Still we missed 3 presentable chances which Mellis, Perkibs or GOG should have put at least one away.

Overall promising but lacking innovative on, creativity and a cutting edge. I'd go for improving...

Sorry for the brevity and the spelling mistakes I was bouncing round the passenger seat of my mates car at the time.
