Or flares or whatever they're called to a football match should be banned for fecking life.

    I'm just glad I haven't gone today...

A flare or whatever it's called went off earlier.

right. doesn't seem clear whether or not a flare or smoke bomb has caused this person to collapse then?

I'm sat amongst it all and nobody as far as I'm aware has collapsed. A smoke bomb has gone off, which means another fine looms for the club.
The police and stewards are useless as always, all the aisles all blocked up and everybody (kids) congregating in the corner just to shout abuse at the Donny fans. Quite pathetic really, but it's been boring on the field of play so who can argue?

They're unrelated as far as I know.

I just get pissed off whenever I hear about one going off.

I used to go to every away game, and I just can't now (although I'm not sure I would anyway these days, i'm rather disenchanted with football ATM)
