the band has reformed for what it believed to be a one off performance at a US music festival, according to the band's website (www.RATM.com)

Great news, top band

Quality. My mates band played Know Your Enemy the other night. The place went mental, brilliant tune.
Aye well im only 20 so I've only just left those days...although I still listen to them every now and again.
Came across a band called Lounge Against The Machine the other day Or Richard Cheese and Lounge Against The Machine to give them their full title. Did a cover of Violent Femmes' Add It Up on an album called Aperitif For Destruction.
We can always hope! Download headliner's have been announced, and they're crap, so maybe it'll be much better at Leeds. I'd love to see RATM. Maybe they'll enjoy playing together so much and will want to reform for good!
Coachella Indio California Interesting mix of bands ,RATM,Willie Nelson,Kaiser Chiefs ,Happy Mondays. Now that Cornell has gone solo and Audioslave is no more lets hope RATM decide to do some european festivals
Richard Cheese? I heard his American Idiot / Longview (Green Day) covers... great stuff! As for Dowload, nowt wrong with a bit of MCR!
Re: Richard Cheese "The band specializes in playing lounge-style covers of recent popular rock, metal, rap and hip hop songs, sung in a calm jazz voice. The group has been giving the Vegas treatment to popular songs since 2000." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Cheese_and_Lounge_Against_the_Machine
