Anyone who thinks going from 1-0 up against 10 men and out of the relegation places to throwing away 2 points and ending up at the foot of the table is a good result has been brainwashed. Performances and effort means nowt when you keep conceding.
If we were also picking up the odd win, a point here today would have been ok, but we aren't winning any, not even at home, so even though 'on paper' a win away at millwall is a decent point it's not enough, especially when other teams are winning - we are just falling further behind. We must win some games.
Well said Mark. God help us if they hadn't had a man sent off and missed a penalty. We got out of jail today. Maybe we were due some luck but it wasn't pretty again.
Don't really care if its pretty or lucky or anything. A win is a win. I always disagree with people when we lose and they say 'but we played well' or 'we deserved to win'. No we didn't, we lost. So when it's the other way round you have to accept that lucky, scrappy, due to a ref or not, a win is a win and is deserved.
Credit also to Stephen Dawson for his goal. When that Os fan came on here asking about him the other day I praised him but said he doesn't score enough. Nice bit of humble pie one match later
