If they are actually serious about these players and sign them that is. After returning to this league after more than 50 years they failed to fill a brand new 15000 capacity stadium and their crowds up to now have fallen quite sharply. I believe their average has been something like 2000-2500 per season lower than ours since their promotion. I know from listening to Ryan's interviews that he has been dismayed by their home attendances. He did say something recently about names being required to bring the crowds in. As we are all aware this doesn't guarantee success. It is indeed an ambitious plan and a big gamble considering attendances are certaintly not guaranteed should they succeed. Its going to be interesting to see which way this goes.
They are playing with fire if they think promotion is a certainty by following this high risk strategy.
Absolutely. Even if they do get all these players there is nowt to say they will be able to perform in the Championship.
