It all depends if we stay up of course, but for me he seems to posses the right attributes needed to be a top boss. Single bloody mindedness, touch of arogance, tactical nous. if he keeps us up it will be an amazing achievement given the state of the club. I dont always aggree with his player selection. He's too loyal to some players (Reid, Colgan). Not loyal enough to others (Kay). But so far he's done OK.

just sort out the home form.

Where is his tactical nous. He has got it right on how many occasions? yes he got it right on wednesday, but anyone on here could have told him that to get the best from Howard , play him central. He has got it wrong more times than right so far.
But I hope he now knows what to do and keeps us up.

    RE: Hope so.

If we win tomorrow then yes he will be one of the all time greats. However , if we lose then it's obvious he is not cut out for the job and we should have kept Ritchie ...........but then if we went and beat Derby I would have to say he is the next Alex Ferguson in the making.

    I hope

he turns out to be the luckiest manager we have ever had.

Perhaps he may be due just a bit of credit eh?

He'll not be the first that had has a bit of luck.

I have serious reservations about the longer term, as you well know,

only time will tell. If we're mid-table Championsip or better this time next year then he'll deserve the credit.</p>
