Anyone think we might sign some players before the deadline tomorrow

    When Ritchie was given the boot didnt the club bring in 3 or 4 loan players in the few days before that deadline??

    I'm hopeful of a couple of defenders coming in, 'hopeful' being the key word.

    And your right they did, but Davey was put in caretaker as soon as Ritchie went and Shepard identified his targets and got them.

    Don't know how much Davey was involved with the signings of Knight, McCann and Wallwork.

    Ritchie wanted to sign Wallwork before he got the boot though, came out and said a deal was almost done.

    Would be crazy to do so, uinless they already know their man, and they will have other things to think about.

    Would be amazed if we signed anyone tomorrow.

    Don't forget that the loan window is back open before we even play another game.

    We need 2 or 3 defenders in

    Without those we are fecked - adrift in the bottom 3 by the time the Jan transfer window comes around

    'Strong goalscorer' - I honestly believe we may have that in Gray.

    Think he'll turn out to be a fine signing (Y).
