Anyone use netflix / lovefilm instant with a slow broadband speed

    Just wondering what minimum speed anyone has streamed these at. netflix website says 0.5MB but this seems lower than barnsley player which seems strange (since player looks poor resolution on big screen tv). dont want to sign up and then find my connection is too slow. wanting to do it wirelessly through my wii, which is quite a way from my router. I can get 4MB from router but it drops to 0.5-1.5 at the wii.

    My lad as got it thru is xbox and it's excellent quality, sorry I can't be any more help

    I use lovefilm. Not sure at what speed, but the buffering is pretty good. I seems to download about 2 mins ahead, which smooths out any stuttering.

    Both services offer free trials so just give it a try.
