Moving house and had quotes from both of these and wondered if anyone has had good or bad experiences? Ison Harrison specifically the Barnsley office.

I may use someone I use with work but wanted to compare quotes and interested in any feedback on these two.

    Thanks.

The best conveyancer I've experienced is the one I'm currently using. Super impressed with level of detail, responsiveness and advice. They are based in Kent though. Not that it matters nowadays unless you physically want to drop documents off rather than use technology.

My wife and brother previously used them on the sale of their parents house and were positive, hence our instruction.

Currently using Switalskis in Wakefield, so far so good.

The other ones Ison Harrison's local branch didn't even return my call when I was initially contacted by their Leeds office. They were more expensive too.

I used Switalski’s. I had to take a document up to their office in the centre of Wakefield which was a minor inconvenience but in general they were pretty good

I've recently used Bury and Walkers and was more than happy with the service and price.

Used Switalskis recently, no problems, all very easy through online portal and one of best prices.

I used Switalskis (Dewsbury branch I think) a few years ago when I moved house, having been recommended them by a friend. They were brilliant, handled everything quickly online / by email etc, never had to visit their offices. The purchase couldn't have gone any smoother, less than 3 months from initial contact to completion
