The one that says it'll do a will for £32.50 or something.

Being serious for once. Need a will & PoA for a little old auntie of my agent's.

Watch out for add-ons to the price.

Unless you ask for something really bog standard, you'll end up paying a load. And then there'll be charges for storing it.

And what your aunt needs depends on what she's got and what she wants to do, not what's the cheapest option for making a will.

If she wants to try and avoid paying care home fees then I do not believe the bog standard will fee of £32.50 will cover what needs to be done.

Same with a power of attorney - do you want a financial one or a welfare one or both? Is it to be registered now? Is it to start operating now or soon, or is it a "just in case" scenario?

You're better off with proper legal advice and consequent will and LPA that covers the lot. And it's not much more expensive, if at all.

Ooo blimey, it gets complicated doesn't it !

One either does nothing and gets to sort out the consequences or one puts in the effort now and does it 'properly'. Either way it's a load of responsibility and mi agent'll only end up upsetting everyone else.

So anyone got any recommendations ? Need someone to come out to house, outskirts of Barnsley.

send us a pm if so please.
