    And one drunk snail?

Me garden is overrun with slugs. I buy a new plant, put it in the garden and it's gone the next morning. Devoured. They even eat the plants that all web sites claim are slug resistant. They're some kind of super slugs. Every night I go out with a torch and pick 'em off me plants, but I've had to admit defeat because there are thousands of 'em. I refuse to use slug pellets, they harm birds and hedgehogs, so I sent off for some of them beer traps. A pack of six. Set 'em up yesterday and went to check this morning to see if I'd caught any. Every one full to the brim of inebriated gastropods. Some of them in a pretty bad way. I don't think they're going to recover. So I counted 'em. 167.

Free to a good home. Buyer collects.

Buy one of those big tubs of salt from Tesco, melt them all and the salt will eventually disolve

I use the cheap Asda type lager at 10p a can or something. The slugs drink it anyway. Serves em right!!

Boil some garlic bulbs in a pan of water ,let the water cool, spray your plants with it preferably in the Spring when plants are just coming through, works particularly well for Hosters

Hang on a minute. After providing them with succulent plants to devour, you're now supplying them with beer to drink, too?? No wonder you're being lumbered with so many slugs, you've provided them with a veritable Garden Of Eden!:D
The message is going through the slug fraternity, "Party time at Jay's!!":D

I might be interested. Got a buyer in the Far East lined up, just depends what colour they are.

Have you got any wasps? Demand is outstripping supply at the moment and my stock is very low. I will pay 4p per wasp.

Gnats I am fine for, just took in a large shipment yesterday.

Wasps are rubbish it's bees you want. Their knees come in very handy.

I will swap you for 167 snails.
Order some diamatose or D Earth of E Bay
Sprinkle it round your plants and in cracks where they might hide.
It is harmless to pets etc but kills snails slugs tics on animals and you can sprinkle a little on you bed mattress. Kills mite.
It is like flour, and is mined in Peru. It is from crustaceans or reefs buried at the same time as coal was created
It works by getting on their skin and clogs it causing dehydration which kills them.
