    In a nutshell...

Lazy American writers have discovered that if you give a whole host of characters special powers you can take a story all over the place and nothing is impossible. It fits the bill for one of these endless money generating series where the writers can make it up as they go along for as long as viewers keep watching.

Yeah!! It's class, but you have to have seen it from the beginning. There's too many characters to just get into it, half way through.
BBC had a "Catch-Up" weekend a few weeks ago, Showing every episode so far.

    It takes "Lost".......

.. puts it on the floor, empties its bladder all-over it, and does a bowel movement to boot.

"Lost" had me hooked, until I found out there was a second series. Oh Dear! it's turned out into a dragged out series based on 80's SitCom "Duty Free"! People on holiday, destined NEVER to go back home!

That's exactly where I'm coming from...

I too watched the first "season" of Lost until I found out that nothing was being wrapped up, that all the mysteries would remain mysteries and that the writers hadn't a clue where they were going. You were in effect watching a child's imagination played out. There was no hope of seeing a clever conclusion.

The only things missing from the second series of "Lost"....

.. Was Keith Barren, and Linda Bellingham!
