It was very sad to see those poor old folks in that hospital ,they were so short staffed some were left for hours without a drink .
Damn, I forgot My mum mentioned it, she's a nurse so was very interested to see it, but I forgot and missed it! Any good? Not that it's there for entertainment of course.
More "lets make out the NHS is a disaster" and that everything is like that...still, it wouldn't make good TV to show all the good points and all the good people working there would it!
RE: Damn, I forgot I found it upsetting, and the clever get who was shouting at his patient wants sacking ,theres no exuse for that.
Its not the nurses fault, they just dont have enough staff at some hospitals but thankfully what we saw tonight is in the minority but there was no excuse for the male nurse who was shouting at his patients.
Just the same as it is in some care homes. It was pretty normal to have 2 care workers to see to the needs of 34 people where I worked. Quality of life?? You're having a laugh.
Unfortunately, it's not just one incident. The system seems to fail when elderly infirm patients are sent to hospital. Families reporting back that their relatives, who are incapable of feeding themselves, have had their food placed on tables set away from them is quite common. And these reports are from different hospitals in different counties.
Yep, absolutly appalling, however let's not forget that that was many months of work condensed into 1 hour edited for a shock factor. Having said that in this day and age no one should die in pain and without dignity in what should be a caring enviroment.
RE: Damn, I forgot The one that wanted the sack was the guy in charge of the food. Arrogant ******* that he was. It's his type of ignorance that does give the health service a bad name.
