They did a piece on a bloke from Scarborough who'd been dobbied in by his wife after she found 23 images of children on his PC. It showed a picture of the pedo on Calendar. The next story was about a body that had been found in Sheffield and who it was. It showed a picture of the man, only, it was the same as in the previous story. Pretty terrible if you ask me.
What's pretty terrible? That a paedo is dead? Anyone who kicks their sexual kicks from looking at children deserves..... well insert whatever you feel suits.
No, what's terrible is confusing the picture of an innocent man who has been killed, with that of a paedophile. His family will probably be going through enough heartache and turmoil without having to see their father/son/husband mixed up with a chile molestor on the news. Pretty poor from Calendar.
Did they apologise for it and set the record straight? I'd be frigging livid if they'd done this to one of my family.
No, not as far as I was aware. Didn't hear them anyway. The newsreader knew they'd messed up, but after a brief pause, just carried on.
