My daughter is glued to it, but I hate to admit

I don't enjoy it as much as the men's game.

Nothing to do with the lack of blokes, (I'd watch any game if it's on),
Just not as fast. The game is improving though. Moved on a massive amount in the last 20 years.

It'll probably be 7-6 by the time I get back from "Come Dine With Me"

    I know, I know.

    Funnily enough

I once played in a 7-6 game Birmingham City Vs WBA; also played in games that ended up 14-0 and 13-5!

Thing is those kind of scorelines came up every week. Suppose it's the same in Sunday league :D

The England Women's team couldn't beat Athersley Rec

I don't know why it gets the amount of coverage it receives

What, the final being on BBC2?

Not exactly blanket coverage, is it?

National terrestrial TV at teatime? It's not a bad slot for such a poor level

Well it would have been hard for them to show it live at any other time . . .

delayed live coverage at 12:10 am would have been more apt

    On BBC4

Just tell me what programmes you are missing??

Because if BBC2 wanted to televise Athersley Rec B Team reserves vs Asda Part time Trolley staff, I'd still watch it.

Of course it's not on a par with mens football, but it's still entertaining - if you don't like it don't watch it.

Which of the scheduled programmes is it you're upset about missing?

The Hairy Bikers, Trust Me I'm a Dealer, Pointless or Eggheads?

I'm not missing any programmes and I'm not watching it

I just don't believe such a low standard of football should be broadcast just because women are doing it

    Just my opinion
